PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROGRESS
A first opportunity.
A different future.
When people get the chance to learn in a real workplace, employers see their strengths and learners see what could come next.
I-SIP’S DELIVERY TRACK RECORD · 2023–2026
Support that helps
people move forward.
Our construction Skills Bootcamps experience informs the learning and support we are bringing to the developing Built for Better Academy.
Programme success
Approximately 92% of learners achieved all three DfE milestones across our construction Skills Bootcamps programme, 2023–2026.
Positive destinations
Progression into employment, further learning, or industry-recognised qualifications and certifications.
Different backgrounds. A shared opportunity.
We welcome people from different backgrounds and work with learners to understand their goals and the barriers they face.
Programme success combines Wave 1 and its Wave 2 contract extension, weighted by starters. The percentage is approximate because the Wave 1 rate was rounded. These are I-SIP’s historic programme results, not outcomes from the developing academy or guarantees for future learners.
OFSTED MONITORING VISIT · 16–17 OCTOBER 2025

It starts with
doing the work.
ADC hosted learners in construction work experience. They joined the rhythm of a real workplace: working alongside others, following instructions and building a record of what they could do.
Practical learning from our Kirklees work experience programme.
Real tasks
Tiling, plastering, joinery, roof and gutter work, groundworks and responsible site clearance.
Safety awareness
Learners completed online health, safety and environmental awareness modules.
Visible progress
Learners reflected on their growing confidence across the programme’s learning objectives.
Something to show
Practical tasks, photographs, supervisor feedback and training brought together in learner portfolios.
Confidence was self-assessed by learners. Awareness certificates are separate from occupational qualifications.
ONE LEARNER’S JOURNEY
From work experience
to a role in the team.
Adaze’s placement included mortar preparation, clearance and site-estimating activity. It gave the team a chance to recognise his strengths and support his development.
He went on to work for ADC as Site Liaison Officer on the Featherbank School project in Leeds. ADC funded his SMSTS training, and he also completed the NVQ route.
It is a practical example of what an employer-connected programme can make possible.

Opportunity needs partners.
Could you offer a work placement, an employer conversation, mentoring or a route into further learning? Let’s make the next step possible.
